How the have you had “The youngest team in the AFL for 5 years”???? In 2004 you had alot of oldies and at that time St Kilda were the youngest team or possibly Hawthorn/Geelong. Port fans i swear

Well, they deserved …
Well, they deserved the win in that there was no fault within the game. But, the Lions list was badly damaged. Just about all of them were carrying some sort of injury. They had to play the prelim away unfairly the week before.
Brown and Lynch could barely walk, just about the whole list excluding Power, Notting, Akermanis and Bradshaw were clearly hurt. Second half, after being infront at the end of the first half, they just ran out of steam.

As a Brisbane Lions fan, I think that Port Adelaide thoroughly deserved that win. Our second half was terrible! Oh well, at least we didn’t lose to Collingwood.

Ehh I do doubt very much that Brisbane would have lost that grand final if they had a healthy list.
It was well done by Port and they were the deserving winners.
Power deserved Norm Smith, someone other than Biron Pickett.
